Nothing to Defend (Poem)
Resurrect the god of greed The keeper of the slave, Two hands fight like shadows now, Reflected in the cave. Deconstruct the reconstruction, Alienate the self. Summon ancient seraphim, To suffocate in filth. Bring about the absent eon, Shatter every gate, No more souls to oppress or feed on, Prisoner of hate. Prisoner of emptiness, In a self fulfilling void. Builder of your own starvation. The balance is destroyed. Incinerate the sacred numbers, Leaving none to count, No angels sing, no beast can slumber, No faith is left to doubt. No one left to put beneath you, The hierarchy ends, A war of nothing, a land of no where, That nobody defends.
