Snow globe (poem)

 There's a little town

Inside of me

Where the people walk the snowy streets hand in hand,

Where the lonely moon slumbers quietly,

Casting subtle light against

 a calm and cozy land.

Where the people come,

And the people go,

Walking hand in hand

together through the falling snow.

There's a little town

Inside of me

Where the people whisper gossip

Over cups of tea,

Where the distant stars

Twinkle silently

As the snowflakes fall

upon a sea of evergreens.

Where the people come,

And the people go,

They live in simple little houses

Where their families grow.

There's a wooden bridge

Where I like to go,

To hear the music of the gentle stream

That runs below.

There's a little town

Inside of me

And when I dream at night

my souls can dwell there peacefully.
